This book deals with the theme of process engineering, dealing in depth with the design of industrial processes and production plants, following the different models of industrial activity management that are currently implemented. Graphic and visual tools and techniques are included, of simple and pleasant use, but very powerful, to adjust all the design parameters that affect efficiency and competitiveness (productivity, cost, response time, quality, etc.)

Special emphasis is placed on the management model known as Lean Manufacturing, based on Toyota's production system, both in the process management aspects, as well as in the design itself and of complete industrial plants, also addressing the aspect of flexibility.
